After reading the first bundle I was eager to see what came next for Scott and Tad and I wasn’t disappointed. First off - the wrestling mat and the pool table - hot damn. Definitely two of my all time favorite sex scenes. I’ll just leave it at that, you’ll have to read the book yourself for more details. But those scenes weren’t only sexy as hell, they were also fun - Tad calling him Dude - the way they joke with each other throughout. Too many times I read sex scenes that are fraught with cheesy lines and tortured declarations of love, not so with these two. Even so, the author still managed to infuse the scenes with sweetness and gentleness between the guys that made my insides melt.I also appreciated the attention that was paid to the typical issues that a person Tad’s age might face when starting a new relationship like balancing time between friends, work, and your SO. It really added another layer to the book that made the story well rounded. Knight also did a good job of teasing readers, piquing our interest with conflicts between other characters so I’m excited to see what becomes of those guys too - particularly Max and Sean.Just like the first bundle, the second had enough conflict and tension to move the story forward without making me feel totally bummed out and just enough sexy fun to make my cheeks heat rather making me roll my eyes. So at the start of this bundle, these two were majorly pulling at my heart strings! So much was changing so quickly for Tad. I'm proud of him for coming to terms with his new feelings, but am also pretty sad for Scott that it's not happening quickly enough. No one wants to feel like the person they're into is embarrassed or hiding them. I hope Tad can figure his ish out soon because I'm not sure how much longer Scott is going to wait outside the "closet door." But then in the next book it's like "FINALLY!" All the denying and tiptoeing around true feelings is over. Life has not been easy for either of these guys and I'm just so happy their wounds can finally start being sewn up. I love them together. Not only are they sexy as hell, they are the perfect combination of sarcasm and sweet. Now if only Tad would just stop calling Scott "dude!" 😂 So then we move onto things getting real real. Real PDA, real relationship, real I love yous! Yay for all the walls crumbling down. And just as we're starting to feel some sense of contentment, we get thrown a crazy cliffhsnger full of drama with Sean and Max. Bring it on Ms. Knight!
